Choose Your Training Plan Level


Designed for a beginner-level or low-mileage runner, this plan is 12 weeks long and includes four runs per week. You should be able to comfortably run for 20 minutes before you start.



Designed for a runner with moderate level of experience or fitness, this plan is 12 weeks long and includes five runs per week. You should be able to comfortably run for 6 miles before you start.



Designed for an advanced-level runner, this plan is 12 weeks long and includes six runs per week. You should be able to comfortably run 8 miles before you start.

Crash Course


Follow this 4-week crash course training plan, including 13 runs total, to boost your conditioning and avoid getting left in the dust come race day.

    Don't run much? Never experienced a Ragnar Relay? Don't worry, we have created training programs for novice and intermediate runners. These programs are designed to prepare you for race day so you can worry about more important things, like what color to paint your face and how to decorate your van.


    This training program is intended for a person who is generally fit to begin an exercise program and has been doing little or no running prior to starting our program.*


    This training program is intended for a person who has been running 20-30 miles a week, exercises at least 3 days a week, and races only occasionally.*

    * Note: a doctor's exam is essential before beginning any exercise program.
