Ragnar Relay launches Ragnar Extra Mile Program
Driven by the spirit of philanthropy and the importance of creating local impact, Ragnar Relay Series announced the launch of the Ragnar Extra Mile Program, a community engagement program designed to extend community impact beyond the two-day race period in local markets. The Ragnar Extra Mile Program will initially support local organizations in five counties along the Ragnar Wasatch Back course.
Ragnar will provide some $130,000 in donations and in-kind services to 13 organizations across Cache, Weber, Morgan, Summit and Wasatch counties in central Utah in 2012. Each organization’s focus and purpose aligns with the four core values of the Ragnar Extra Mile program, which include promoting active and healthy lifestyles; enabling people and communities to form lasting connections; helping people conquer challenges; and helping people and communities celebrate these accomplishments.
