This is the race that started it all, and yes - it truly is as beautiful as everyone says it is. You'll run from Logan, Utah, over three mountain passes, past fields of alpine wildflowers and under the stars. You’ll breathe in the fresh mountain air (or gasp trying to catch your breath) on the infamous “Ragnar Leg” running over Guardsman Pass in the Wasatch Mountains. This race begins in scenic Cache Valley, runs along the back of the mountain range and finishes in fabulous Park City. Come see how it all started and celebrate our 10 year anniversary this June! Run Wasatch Back and Ragnar Relay Las Vegas in the same year and you’ll receive the elusive Saints & Sinners Double Medal!
Driven by the spirit of philanthropy and the importance of creating local impact, Ragnar Relay Series announced the launch of the Ragnar Extra Mile Program, a community engagement program designed to extend community impact beyond the two-day race period in local markets. The Ragnar Extra Mile Program will initially support local organizations in five counties along the Ragnar Wasatch Back course.
Ragnar will provide some $130,000 in donations and in-kind services to 13 organizations across Cache, Weber, Morgan, Summit and Wasatch counties in central Utah in 2012. Each organization?s focus and purpose aligns with the four core values of the Ragnar Extra Mile program, which include promoting active and healthy lifestyles; enabling people and communities to form lasting connections; helping people conquer challenges; and helping people and communities celebrate these accomplishments.

This is my fourth year of Ragnar and I think it's an incredible race! I wear my jacket everywhere and my medals are proudly displayed. I tell everyone who runs that they should give it a try, and I think the race directors are amazing. Keep up the great work!!
