The Mighty Mississippi. America’s Heartland. And Wild Runners. The Ragnar Relay Great River is the second oldest Ragnar Relay in the series. This race begins on the bank of the Mississippi River in Winona, runs over and across rolling farmland, through stunning scenery and finishes back on the river in Downtown Minneapolis. This Ragnar has both challenging legs and beginner level legs for all of your teammates. It also has one of the best finish line parties and some of the friendliest volunteers. Show up as a runner in a Batman costume, and you’ll fit right in. Run Ragnar Relay Chicago and the Ragnar Relay Great River in the same year and earn the Make It A Double Medal!
It was a fun experience that I will never forget, helped me forge some great bonds with my teammates that I wouldnt have otherwise and it got me running more than ever!
