The Ragnar Relay Chicago was designed for runners who know how to have a good time. Running from Madison, WI, across the Midwest and finishing in Chicago, you’ll have time to take in the sights of the big city lights as you run under the stars. This race qualifies for a double medal too. Run this Ragnar and the Ragnar Relay Great River in the same year and earn the Make It A Double Medal!

Thank you for another amazing race. Ragnar Relays are the most well-run races I have ever run - quite an accomplishment with a 200 mile course and 36 exchanges. All of the volunteers along the route were attentive and helpful, and our team did not have a single hiccup. Check-in at race start was even more streamlined this year, and the finish line was beautifully orchestrated this year to get all teams medals, photos, and checked-out in a matter of minutes. The community that pops up within Ragnar is always the best part of the race - van decor, chatting with other runners and a genuine sense of fun and adventure are what make Ragnar different than any other race. Thanks for another great event!

Chicago Charity Info

Back on My Feet (BoMF) is a national nonprofit organization that uses running to help those experiencing homelessness change the way they see themselves so they can make real change in their lives that results in employment and independent living.

The organization creates a community built on the very profound and innate desire for all of us to feel recognized, appreciated and supported.  Back on my Feet does not provide food nor shelter, but instead provides coaching, resources, financial aid, job training and access to employment opportunities.

Ragnar Chicago has partnered up with the Chicago Area Runners Association (CARA) to be an official training partner! CARA has been training runners for 25 year and provides the largest and best training programs in Chicago. CARA has developed a supplemental training program to their summer half marathon training for those running Ragnar to get participants acclimated to the challenges of both the mileage and shorter recovery times between runs. All of CARA’s training includes several weekly group training opportunities, speed workouts, a complete training plan, guidance from USATF certified coaches and more!

Visit http://www.cararuns.org/Training.aspx for more information! Register soon as training starts on February 16th!
