The mission of Ragnar Events is to provide you, the participant, with an unforgettable relay adventure. In our quest to fulfill this mission we are constantly striving to improve upon each aspect of every race we do. We have reviewed your survey responses and emails and take you feedback very seriously. Based on you feedback we have made the following changes: Date Change Reminder:The MyoMed Ragnar Relay Del Sol has been moved to February 29th & March 1st. This will eliminate conflicting events and will greatly reduce the amount of boat and RV traffic in the area.
Shoulders will be coned along all of Highway 74. Signage will also be added to slow oncoming traffic.
Runners will arrive in Cavecreek later in the evening after most of the traffic has died down
The distance that teams have to run on carefree highway in cave creek will be shortened. The shoulders in this area will also be coned to increase safety for runners. (The course changes are not yet reflected in the current course maps. Permit approval is pending.)
Runners will now cross Cave Creek Rd. at Rancho Paloma Dr. There is a stop light at this intersection and Police officers will assist runners as they cross.
Police officers will assist runners as they cross at the intersection of Carefree Hwy. and Cave Creek Rd.
The shoulders along Cave Creek Rd. will be closed from Carefree Hwy. to Skyline Dr.
Police officers will assist runners as they cross Scottsdale Rd. in Cave Creek.
Multiple signs will be placed along Bush Hwy. to slow traffic to 35 mph. Police officers will be present to enforce the reduced speed.
